American Kennel Club commonly known as AKC provides all the information about the dogs. AKC also supports to search training and services for dogs. The club was started on September 17, 1984 by 12 sportsmen. The company also organizes AKC Therapy Dog™ Program and AKC Canine Partners Program. AKC also publishes a magazine under the title AKC Magazines. Its officers are accountable for daily operations, policies and decisions as guided by the delegate unit. AKC organizes many competitions throughout the year for dogs and handlers; these competitions include Junior Showmanship, Obedience trials, Dog agility, Rally obedience, Field trials, Sheepdog trials, Lure coursing and many others.
