BCW is the Backward Class Welfare association in the West Bengal, India. BCW is looking after and taking care of the poor children's in West Bengal. In India, West Bengal is considered to be the poorest state of India. BCW works primarily for the welfare and the uplifting standard of the students belonging to the communities of schedule caste, schedule tribes and other backward classes. BCW provides the food, education and other commodities to the students of these communities. BCW works under the department of Tribal Welfare Department of Government of India. The government of India is providing the funds to the BCW.
