Simply put, cancelling Larry Wilmore's Nightly Show--one of the funniest, most interesting, and innovative shows on nighttime TV, and one of the rare shows that presents the "news" from a black perspective--in the middle of this presidential election is an outrage.comedy central should be ashamed of itself. I am protesting the cancellation of the Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore. I think there is an element of latent racism in this. It is additionally insulting that you are "temporarily" replacing it with that stupid game show with that lame white guy. I think this is a douche bag move just months before a very important election (and additionally an insult to Jon Stewart) so basically FUCK YOU Kent Alterman. You've put 100 people out of work who represent many minorities. And Kent. You join the list of people who didn't know they were racists until Obama got elected. Douche.

We are so unhappy that you are cancelling the Larry Wilmore Show, The Nightly Show. We love it and have been loyal fans since the beginning. We look forward to his take on the news each evening and love the panels he puts together. Larry is a rarity: an entertainer who LISTENS. He doesn't have to commandeer every second of air time. He is so skillful himself and he works so well with his wonderful staff. We are white folks in our 60's and we LOVE this show and think there needs to be a place for it. My husband and I are very sad that you have cancelled the Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore. I do not think you gave him a chance. Stephen Colbert was able to follow the loved and established Jon Stewart. Then everyone left that time slot and Trevor had not started yet. We like Trevor Noah AND we enjoyed Larry Wilmore. We are in our 50s, white and do not watch Jimmy Fallon or other talk shows very often as we like to hear about REAL issues. Those other talk shows are mostly "fluff". You should have promoted his show more and I hope he gets a show on another network as we will watch it.

It is asd to see the Nightly show being cancelled. I just do not understand the logic of putting the Nightly show and the Daily show on at midnight and ten am both times are not in the prime time to get more viewers. Instead what gets run is Futurama and Southpark marathons during prime time. UNBELIEVABLE TRULY UNBELIEVABLE Bring back Larry Wilmore and put The Daily show at it'a old time slot of 9pm not midnight. Thanks.

Made it through a few minutes of new David Spade show. Ugh. Please, PLEASE bring back Larry Wilborn and his hilarious cast of the Nightly Show. I was devastated when it was cancelled. It was the perfect complement to the wonderful Trevor Noah.
