On 3rd Dec'16 I have swiped my Debit card at Petrol bunk, Kondapur, Hyderabad for Rs. 1000/- against my Corp. A/c xxxx xxxx x19562. First time it came as declined in the swiping machine, than second time its confirmed and payment accepted. Later I observed that the balance was reduced by 2000/- instead of 1000/- when i inquired with Petrol bunk merchant, asked me to wait 48 hours if they get two credits they will refund 1000/-. Based on that today I check with Corp. Bank Benz circle branch about the transaction, they said it has two debit entries each 1, 000/. Bal reduced by 2000/-. I went to Petrol bunk merchant and informed the same, based on my information, he verified with his statement and confirmed that there is no two entries only one entry (i. E only 1, 000/-)is received against my swiping. In this regard, I request the concerned authorities, please look into the matter and justify by locating the 2nd debit of the same transaction, where it parked. Would like to bring your kind notice that because of physical cash not availability I have used the swipe card from my saving account against the above transaction, if such incidents may demoralise the trust and believe on digital banking system.
