Dallas Fort Worth Airport(DFW) is the primary international airport in the U.S. state Texas. It is the largest airport in Texas and second largest in the United States covering an area of 17,207 acres. It comes third among busiest airports in the world. In its first year of operation, the airport was served by American Airlines, Braniff International Airways, Delta Airlines, Rio Airways. In the Begining , it was one of two US Army "Personnel Assistance Points" from 2004 to 2012. These personnel Assistance Points recieve US troops returning from wars in Iraq and Afghanistan for rest and it ended on March 14, 2012. Earlier, DFW had four Terminals numbered as 2W, 2E, 3E and 4E and now it has five terminals named as A, B, C, D, E with 165 gates. The terminals at DFW are semicircular, these terminals are designed to minimize the distance between a passenger's car and airplane and also reduces traffic around terminals.
