Exeter St Davids Train Station Contact number, Address, Customer Service

I have just bought a railway ticket at Exeter Central and passed a Jersey £10 now to the gentleman serving. He is unaware that Jersey currency is legal tender in England and so at my insistence went to ask someone else. This person searched Google, but the most reliable method, and found a Web site that says Jersey money is not legal and get it exchanged with us Needles to say the man refused to accept the £10. Please visit Wikipedia for the full and correct information regarding Jersey currency as like Scotland Jersey money is pound sterling, has no rate of exchange and is non-chargeable by banks. There is a lot of traffic from the channel Islands and it's haasle having to find a back to exchange notes because people are ignorant and uneducated. I do not feel this level of ignorance represents the railway at all well. May I suggest some simple signs in the offices that hilight all British tender to save confusion, frustration and arguments? I look forward to hearing how you will address this problem for the future. Thanking you in advance. Yours faithfully.
