This is in regards to a person by the name of Desiree who works in the pit area. We travel up to Mille Lacs Grand Casino one to two times per week and we enjoy your casino for the most part. We play live poker, table games and slot machines and occasionally stay overnight. But last week we had an ugly encounter with Ms. Desiree. My wife and I were playing Ultimate Holdem and I wanted to watch High School Prep Bowl on the TV which was on the TVs in the casino the day before. I was met with a snarl from Desiree. She said I doubt it. Etc. But she would try. She went up to her podium, got the black book out, and was feigning interest in finding the channel. Two other co-workers were there and she was complaining to them about my request, then she threw the black book back into its place as if to say "screw it" and I never heard from her again. I did not think it was that hard of a task. Most hotels are very accommodating and willing to please their guests. She is a very poor representative of person that should have excellent customer service skills. I know the rest of the Pit Managers and all are very friendly and very helpful as they should be. Management should really take the time and re-examine her job placement. She should definitely not be exposed to the public and your customers. She is a bad example.
