I would like to discuss with someone pool rules and safety. I grew up swimming at bethpage public pool. When I moved out here and came to the holtsville pool I was extremely excited Until I came There are no ruleskids are running, jumping, splashingthe lifeguards have zero care or control It's extremely upsetting and scary. I'm a mother of two healthy girls, three and 9. They are as unhappy as I am. It's honestly a free for all I then said ok let's try Centereach. 10times worse The pool is two feet deep and gets deeper. Kids were running and jumping into two feet of water. I got jumped on and so did my three year old. A camp counselor broke up a group of boys acting wild (the lifguard seemed to be snoozing)
I urge you to go to bethpage pool (town of oyster bay)parents are not aloud to put a floating device around a kid and leave em to swim. To name a few. I Hv tried for about four years to find patience and trust at these pool, and I can not. I do not Hv a pool so this makes me extremely sad. I do not feel or find the pool to be safe. THERE ARE NO RULES
WHY? I guess if I had not come from town of oyster bay I wld not know different, , but I do I really hope that my concern for a safe and effective town pool is heard. This is not ok Thanks
