IGS is the International GNSS Service. IGS ensured open access, high-quality GNSS data products since in 1994. IGS products access to the definitive in global reference for scientific and commercial applications and key support for scientific advancements. The foundation of IGS in the global network over four hundred permanent operating, geodetic quality stations tracking GLONASS, GPS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS.
IGS was opened in 1992. The first server located in University of New Mexico and two more servers were developed in University of California at Berkeley and one at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, France. IGS translation command was added to the server in December 1992. The IGS provides the highest quality GNSS data, services, and products to benefit science and society through worldwide. IGS is a global system of satellite tracking stations, Data Centers, and Analysis Centers puts Good-quality GPS data and data products.
IGS Information Gateway Services
It is an Internet service provider. IGS has 18 locations across Canada, serving Windsor, London, Toronto, and the rest of Southern Ontario. IGS also serves the Greater Vancouver area in British Columbia. IGS reflecting their ownership of IGS as of 2011.
