JetKonnect is an airline company owned by Jet Airways. The airlines operate scheduled services in India between metropolitan centres. The airline offers In-flight services like Jetcafe, which is a Buy on board service offered food for purchase. The company was founded as Sahara Airlines on 20th of September 1991 and started operations on 3rd of December 1993 with two Boeing 737-200 aircraft. At that time, services only for the Northern sectors of India were offered by airlines keeping Delhi as its base. After sometimes, services were extended to all over the country.
