Meenakshi lekhi is an active politician who is a member of bhartiya Janta party and is its national spokesperson and a Supreme Court lawyer. She won the parliamentary elections with a good margin. Mrs. lekhi completed her graduation from Hindu College delhi and her law studies from law centre Delhi university. She even launched a mobile application known as raksha for women's safety. She has also served as a chairperson of special task force on women empowerment, joint secretary of Blind relief association and was there in national commission for women's special committee. After becoming the Municipal Council member of delhi constituency she has launched constituency connect where delhi residents can register their complaints.
