The Colt Car Company Limited is privately owned and subsidiary business of Mitsubishi Motors established in 1947. It was a global expansion program for importing and distributing purposes of cars and light commercial vehicles in the United Kingdom. The Mitsubishi United Kingdom company laid its foundation stone in 1974 as a sole distributor with its subsidiary brand name, The Colt Car Company Limited (Mitsubishi Motors in the UK).
