Mobinil whereas 5% share belongs to Global
Telecom (founded by the Naguib Sawiris) and rest of the 1.08% share is free float. It is also recognized as the primary telecom company that is ISO 14001 certified in Egypt as well as Middle East. It has also achieved certification of OHSAS 18001. In a research it has been found that Mobinil has provided services to 33.8 million customers till December 2012. Mobinil has also awarded with two big awards i.e. best brand and best CSR contribution presented in Telecom world award competition.
Mobinil Services
Being a first GSM Egypt organization, it has underground station where 17 micro BTSs covering stations are integrated in Cairo. Its coverage is extended to 99% of the Egyptian population. Moreover, it is also having international roaming agreements having 348 operators in 135 countries, Mobinil also offers several roaming services, through big satellite operator i.e. Al-Thuraya. In 2007, the Mobinil has started offering
