History
The National Bank of Kuwait was the established after the introduction of an Amiri passed on 19th of May 1952 and the bank began its saving cash operations on 15th of November in that year. The first space of bank was covered by
Three shops area and with the help of few workers which were working with an old manual banking tools.
The bank was founded by the joint efforts of nine entrepreneurs namely Khalid Zaid Al- Khalid, Ahmed Saud Al-Khaled, Khalifa Khalid Al-Ghunaim, Khaled Abdullatif Al-Hamad, Sayed Ali Sayed Sulieman Al-Rifai, Yousef Abdulziz Al-Fulaij, Yousef Ahmed Al-Ghanim, Mohamed Abdulmohsen Al-Khorafi and Abdulaziz Hamad Al-Sager.
