National College Mumbai is officially known as Rishi Dayaram National College, sometimes credited to as R.D. National College. One of the oldest and prestigious colleges, National College Mumbai came into existence in 1922 and is situated on the Linking Road, Bandra, Mumbai run by Hyderabad National Collegiate Board. National College Mumbai comes under the affiliation of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. Late principal M. Kundnani and Barrister H.G. Advani jointly started the college in Sindh, Pakistan and after Independence of India, in 1949 the college moved to its present location.
National College Mumbai has been offering education in three major streams including Science, Arts and Commerce. Apart from this, doctorate course is also available in chemistry offering Doctor of Philosophy.
