It was initially incorporated on 1st July 1997 under the Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional Act 1997 and had commenced its services on 1st November 1997 with its headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. Very bad service. I waited 30 min on the phone to contact the person in charge in order to request for information regarding my son's ptptn loan repayment. The automated telephone operator says I can get the direct contact number of the officer in charge via the website, but when I checked, i only saw the same hotline number (03-208044555). I waited and waited at the phone for nearly an hour, but still no one answered my call. For god's sake, I am trying to PAY YOU MONEY, NOT REQUESTING FOR MONEY. PLEASE PICK UP THE PHONE.

Hi good evening and a nice day to you. We have many young schooling shopper and from their parents asking us, on why ptptn did not open up a shop to service the public here, many of whom are very keen to get more information on the loan for their children future education. Please do drop us a call at 012-3536 413 for more information about one prime shoplot 884 kaki bersegi which we have reserved for you at the main entrance of our repackaged hypermarket mall which is most idle for you ptptn businesses. Rental is attractively low and the shoplot facade glasspanel is facing the busy Cheras Kajang Highway, with much easy conveinent for the placing of ptptn advertising banners too.
