Upper Canada Mall is also known as "Upper Canada” and is considered among the largest shopping malls situated in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. The mall is the property of real estate company named Oxford Properties, which is the owner of several other properties like office space, retail space, multi-residential and hotel assets.
History and Operations
Upper Canada Mall opened its door for the people in the year 1974 and housed over 50 stores including Eaton’s and Sears. The mall went through renovation that resulted in the extra spce of 148,000 square feet area to the existing area. This renovation paid way to opening of shopping outlets such as Victoria Secret, Browns, Michael Kors,
Apple and Disney. The mall houses approximately 200 outlets of various items ranging from clothing, beauty products, nutritional supplements, furniture products and others. The anchor tenants of the mall are namely- Sears, The Bay,
Target and Toys "R" Us. The retail stores are of Babies "R" Us, Taco Bell, Sport Chek, Forever 21, H&M,
Hollister Co, Sephora, MAC, Town Shoes, etc. The mall consists of a two storey building with a retail floor area of about 820,000 square feet. Upper Canada offers a vast range of services to the customers such as seating areas, food court, restaurants, kids playing area.
